This combination nipple is supplied in APG Stainless Steel supplied with a 2 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 3TMPSS200. It splices two hose sections back together after a field cut.

This material stands up to corrosion and oxidation, chemical attack, and salt water and washdown. Stainless Steel offers high mechanical strength and pressure capability, dimensional stability under thermal cycling. It should not be specified for service in chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.
