APG stocks the 3TMPSS400, an APG Stainless Steel Hose Mender Combination Nipple built to a 4 inch nominal size. A combination nipple splices two hose sections back together after a field cut.

Stainless Steel is specified for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, long service life in demanding outdoor environments. The material holds up against salt water and washdown, high pressure, and chemical attack. Exposure to galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades will shorten service life.
