4 HOSE MENDER

Ordered as 3TMP400, this is an APG Carbon Steel Hose Mender Combination Nipple measuring a 4 inch nominal size. The combination nipple splices two hose sections back together after a field cut.

Carbon Steel is specified here for good weldability and repairability, dependable service in dry and oiled environments. The material holds up against high pressure, mechanical load and impact. Applications involving corrosive media without protective coating or salt water immersion call for a different compound.
