The 4MHP2 is a High Pressure Gauge Glass. This gauge glass provides a flat, pressure-rated viewing window for liquid level indication.

Expect good resistance to thermal shock, chemical attack from water and steam, and internal pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Borosilicate gauge glass offers precision-formed bore and wall thickness, annealed for consistent strength.
