5/8 X 48 HEAVY WALL GAGE GLASS

APG stocks the 4SHW062X48, a Heavy Wall Tubular Gauge Glass built to an outside diameter of 5/8 inch and a length of 48 inch. A tubular gauge glass installs into standard gauge cocks and packing nuts for straightforward replacement.

Borosilicate gauge glass is specified here for borosilicate construction for thermal shock resistance, precision-formed bore and wall thickness. It resists thermal shock, chemical attack from water and steam, and internal pressure. It should not be specified for service in abrasive cleaning or service beyond the rated pressure and temperature.
