5/16" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

Ordered as 11800312-10, this is a G.F.O. Compression Packing measuring a 5/16 inch square cross section. The compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Additional detail on this item: 10 LB. G.F.O. offers a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box, controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft. Expect good resistance to process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. Rated for service to approximately 550°F.
