*5/16" PURE GRAPHITE YARN FIBER PACKING

11750312-10 is a Graphite Filament Compression Packing built to a 5/16 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. This item is further identified as 10 LB. Box - Approx. 200 FT.

It resists very high temperature, steam, and thermal shock. Graphite Filament offers conformability that seals imperfect flange faces and near-zero creep relaxation under load. Verify compatibility before use with highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include high-temperature process piping, refining, and steam and heat transfer systems.
