Ordered as VITON90017, this is an AS568-017 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
