The TES70109 is an AS568-109 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.
