SV70123 is an AS568-123 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.174 in (29.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.38 in (35.05 mm). In service, this square-cut ring presents a flat rectangular section that cannot roll or twist in its groove, making it a dependable static seal.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present. The profile itself contributes a rectangular section that will not roll in the groove and greater resistance to extrusion than a round section of the same size. Note that a square section is less suited to high-speed rotary service, where the larger contact area raises friction and heat.
