Ordered as H70FDA157, this is an AS568-157 white Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists propane and butane, water, and greases and lubricants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, fluid power, and construction equipment.
