568-204 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

This square-cut ring is supplied in AS568-204 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.359 in (9.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.637 in (16.18 mm), catalogued under part number SV70204. It provides an economical lathe-cut alternative where a moulded o-ring is not required.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature.
