APG stocks the SV70232, an AS568-232 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.

Typical settings include chemical processing, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
