568-259 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90259 is an AS568-259 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.234 in (158.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.512 in (165.4 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. It resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or esters.
