Ordered as SH70273, this is an AS568-273 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.734 in (247.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.012 in (254.3 mm). The square-cut ring offers greater contact area against the gland wall than an equivalent o-ring.

Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer.
