-332 RED SILICONE 70D O-RING

S70MD332 is an AS568-332 red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.77 in (70.36 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to ozone and UV exposure, weathering, and extreme heat and cold. Silicone is known for an exceptionally wide service temperature range and excellent electrical insulating properties. The material carries a published service range of -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving hydrocarbon fuels and oils or concentrated acids call for a different compound.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and ovens and heated equipment.
