Ordered as SV70339, this is an AS568-339 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring with an inside diameter of 3.225 in (81.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.645 in (92.58 mm). The square-cut ring offers greater contact area against the gland wall than an equivalent o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
