Part number SH70348 is an AS568-348 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.77 in (121.16 mm). A square-cut ring provides an economical lathe-cut alternative where a moulded o-ring is not required.

The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load.
