The VITON75359 is an AS568-359 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.725 in (145.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.145 in (156.08 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
