568-414 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70414 is an AS568-414 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.1 in (78.74 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.65 in (92.71 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against extrusion under high pressure, ozone, and petroleum oils. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and exceptional abrasion resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include mining and heavy equipment, high-pressure fluid power, and off-highway equipment.
