568-438 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70438 is an AS568-438 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or esters will shorten service life.
