The VITON75447 is an AS568-447 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.975 in (227.97 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.525 in (241.94 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
