SH70474 is an AS568-474 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring built to an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.49 in (647.45 mm). In service, this square-cut ring offers greater contact area against the gland wall than an equivalent o-ring.

The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, water, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load.
