568-908 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90908 is an AS568-908 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.644 in (16.36 mm), a cross section of 0.087 in (2.21 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, excellent abrasion and tear strength. This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving esters or ketones call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include oilfield and downhole equipment, engine timing systems, and heavy-duty powertrain.
