Part number SH70911 is an AS568-911 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.863 in (21.92 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.095 in (27.81 mm). A square-cut ring presents a flat rectangular section that cannot roll or twist in its groove, making it a dependable static seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
