Part number SH70920 is an AS568-920 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.711 in (43.46 mm). A square-cut ring offers greater contact area against the gland wall than an equivalent o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
