7/16" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

Ordered as 11800437-05, this is a G.F.O. Compression Packing with a 7/16 inch square cross section. The compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. The catalog record notes: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 43 FT.

The compound resists process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. G.F.O. is known for a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box and field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking. Rated for service to approximately 550°F.
