*7/16" NON-ASBESTOS ARAMID FIBER PACKING

This compression packing is supplied in Aramid Filament supplied with a 7/16 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11780437-10. It seals the shaft while allowing controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the packing set. Source specification: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 83 FT.

As a material, Aramid Filament is valued for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. The material holds up against elevated temperature and pressure, process media, and shaft wear. Rated for service to approximately 500°F. It should not be specified for service in running dry without flush or over-tightening of the gland.
