Tallow Lubricated Flax is specified here for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking, controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft. It resists process media, shaft wear, and elevated temperature and pressure. It is not the right choice where over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush are present.
