7GSW4A0500 is a yellow 304 Stainless Steel Class 150 Spiral Wound Gasket built to a 5 inch nominal pipe size and a Class 150 pressure rating. In service, this spiral wound gasket alternates metal windings with a soft filler so the gasket recovers elastically through thermal and pressure cycling.

304 Stainless Steel is widely chosen for high mechanical strength and pressure capability, dimensional stability under thermal cycling. The material holds up against high pressure, elevated temperature, and salt water and washdown. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades are present.
