The 7GSW4B0800 is a yellow 304 Stainless Steel Class 300 Spiral Wound Gasket measuring an 8 inch nominal pipe size and a Class 300 pressure rating. This spiral wound gasket uses a compression-controlled construction that resists over-torquing during installation.

304 Stainless Steel is specified here for long service life in demanding outdoor environments, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. The material holds up against salt water and washdown, chemical attack, and corrosion and oxidation. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
