7GSW6E0400 is a green 316L Stainless Steel Class 900 Spiral Wound Gasket supplied with a 4 inch nominal pipe size and a Class 900 pressure rating. In service, this spiral wound gasket alternates metal windings with a soft filler so the gasket recovers elastically through thermal and pressure cycling.

316L Stainless Steel is known for dimensional stability under thermal cycling and a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines. The material holds up against salt water and washdown, elevated temperature, and corrosion and oxidation. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades are present.
