As a material, Lubricated PTFE Filament offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and excellent dielectric properties. Expect good resistance to strong acids and bases, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. It is not the right choice where elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals are present.
