-226 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

A80226 is an AS568-226 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.984 in (50.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.262 in (57.45 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and excellent electrical insulating properties. It resists amines and corrosion inhibitors, hot water, and high-temperature steam. Rated temperature range runs from -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
