This o-ring is supplied in AS568-262 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 6.984 in (177.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.262 in (184.45 mm), catalogued under part number A80262. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material holds up against hot water, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and strong bases. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C).
