Product Specification

-
The A80265 is an AS568-265 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.734 in (196.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.012 in (203.5 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to amines and corrosion inhibitors, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. Aflas (TFE/P) offers excellent electrical insulating properties and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Verify compatibility before use with some chlorinated solvents or low-temperature dynamic service.

You will find this material specified across oil and gas production, downhole tooling, and chemical processing.

Reference part number A80265 when ordering; the item is sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.0109 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 7 3/4 inch. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
