-268 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

APG stocks the A80268, an AS568-268 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.484 in (215.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.762 in (222.55 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to hot water, high-temperature steam, and brake fluids and phosphate esters. The material carries a published service range of -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or low-temperature dynamic service will shorten service life.
