This o-ring is supplied in AS568-332 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.77 in (70.36 mm), catalogued under part number A80332. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to strong bases, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and hot water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) is valued for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and excellent electrical insulating properties. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). Exposure to some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
