This o-ring is supplied in AS568-378 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.895 in (276.73 mm), catalogued under part number A80378. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified for exceptional resistance to amine-based additives and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. The material holds up against hot water, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and high-temperature steam. Published continuous service range is -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It is not the right choice where low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
