THREAD SEAL STEEL PLATED

ATS7500-1/4 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) Thread Seal measuring an inside diameter of 0.25 in (6.35 mm). In service, this thread seal prevents weepage at threaded ports without additional tape or sealant. The catalog record notes: Nitrile 70 -1/4.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against water, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids will shorten service life.
