As a material, KLINGER®sil C-4324 offers a calendered, compressed fiber structure bound with elastomer, excellent torque retention and low creep relaxation. Expect good resistance to hydrocarbons, elevated flange loads, and steam and hot water. Exposure to service beyond the published pressure-temperature envelope or strong oxidizing acids in some grades will shorten service life.
