KLINGER®sil C-4401 is specified for reliable sealing on flanges with modest surface finish, clean release and easy removal at teardown. Expect good resistance to elevated flange loads, a broad range of process chemicals, and hydrocarbons. It should not be specified for service in service beyond the published pressure-temperature envelope or strong oxidizing acids in some grades.
