Ordered as 0KC4500062X60X60, this is a KLINGER®sil C-4500 Gasket Sheet supplied with a thickness of 1/16 inch, a width of 60 inch, and a length of 60 inch. The gasket sheet supports on-site gasket fabrication when the original part is unavailable. This item is further identified as Nitrile Binder - Black.

The compound resists steam and hot water, elevated flange loads, and a broad range of process chemicals. KLINGER®sil C-4500 is specified for excellent torque retention and low creep relaxation, a calendered, compressed fiber structure bound with elastomer. It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids in some grades or service beyond the published pressure-temperature envelope are present.

It sees regular use in power generation, pulp and paper, and chemical processing.
