The material holds up against hydrocarbons, a broad range of process chemicals, and steam and hot water. KLINGER®sil C-5400 offers clean release and easy removal at teardown, consistent thickness and density across the sheet. It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids in some grades or service beyond the published pressure-temperature envelope are present.

It sees regular use in pulp and paper, steam and hot water systems, and power generation.
