N70028 is an AS568-028 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is specified here for inherent flame-retarding characteristics, balanced combination of oil and weather resistance. Expect good resistance to mild acids, ozone and weathering, and sunlight and salt spray. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
