N70167 is an AS568-167 black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.987 in (177.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.193 in (182.7 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) is valued for dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations and good resilience across a moderate temperature band. It resists moderate petroleum oil exposure, refrigerants and ammonia, and ozone and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.
