In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Neoprene (Chloroprene) delivers good resilience across a moderate temperature band and strong performance in refrigeration circuits. Expect good resistance to refrigerants and ammonia, ozone and weathering, and moderate petroleum oil exposure. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
