This o-ring is supplied in AS568-008 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.316 in (8.03 mm), catalogued under part number E70NSF008. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The compound resists water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
