-015 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70015, this is an AS568-015 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.551 in (14 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.691 in (17.55 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature.
