E5X155 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 155 mm (6.102 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 165 mm (6.5 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against brake fluid, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is specified for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
